Welcome to “Defend the Digital Frontier”. I’m Bill Reyor, here to offer some insights on navigating the cybersecurity landscape.

With over a decade of experience in roles such as Chief Information Security Officer and Senior Incident Detection Engineer, I’ve been privileged to work with diverse organizations, from small businesses to giants like Disney and Raytheon.

Currently, I’m at Blumira, where I track potential threats across different platforms, automate threat detections, and simplify incident response. Despite scarce resources, I aim to support small and medium-sized businesses in building functional and effective cybersecurity.

Through this blog, I’ll share my learnings in areas like threat hunting, detection engineering, incident response, and discuss the latest cybersecurity trends. Sometimes I’ll deviate from said topics into soft-skill areas like maintaining healthy relationships but those areas are critically important for a healthy cybersecurity program as well.
